Europe were mixed last night. Dow
-34 at 16419. Dow's trend is still up but toppish. Dow's future
at the moment is flat. Europe opened slightly up.
Asian bourses were mostly up. Nikkei
+104, ShanghaiC +2, Hangseng +5. STI closed +3 at 3129. Volume
was 2.9b shares. Gainers were 246 to 205 losers.
Trend of STI is up but levelling.
Top volumes were Albedo +0.5, HanKore
+0.6, PSL -3.5, Blumont +0.8, Transcu unchanged, KLW +0.2, Giken +2.7,
LionGold +3, CharismaEner +0.1, AdvSCT unchanged.
Market opened flat but stayed positive
for the rest of the session. STI closed off its day high of 3145. There
were more gainers than losers among the blue chips. Penny and speculatives
were firmer. PSL was sold down losing 3.5 cents or more than 10%.
Europe and Dow are fairly steady at
the moment.
