Europe were flat last night. Dow
+15 at 17122. Dow's trend is up. Dow's future is now -20. Europe
were down on opening.
Asian bourses were mostly down. Nikkei
-75, ShanghaiC -13, Hangseng -178. STI closed -3 at 3339. Volume
was 1.6b shares. Gainers were 187 to 232 losers.
Short term trend of STI is still up.
Top gainers were GSH +0.2, Weiye +0.2,
ThaiBev +1.5, APAC unchanged, IC -0.5, MetalComponent +0.1, Mirach unchanged,
Global Logistic -3, Blumont unchanged.
STI opened up and was firm in the morning.
It started to swing down in mid after when Europe opened down. STI
closed at its low with some last minute matching. Volume remained
low. Blue chips turned weaker with profit takings on banks. Penny
and speculatives were mixed.
Europe and Dow are looking weak for
tonight.
