European markets closed mixed last night. Dow closed -111 at 19834. Trend of Dow has slipped down after yesterday's fall. Dow's future at this moment is -11. European bourses opened down.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei -257, ShanghaiC -6, Hangseng +36. STI closed -13 at 2885. Volume was 1.2b shares. Gainers were 165 to 195 losers.
Trend of STI is trying to turn up after the recent down trend.
Top volumes were Noble +0.4, AA +0.5, Spackman -0.1, Equation +0.1, Ezion -1, Ezra -0.1, SunMoonFood +0.3, QTVascular +0.1, Blumont unchanged, KrisEnergy +0.1.
STI opened slightly down and stayed down for the whole session. Blue chips closed mixed while the general market was slightly weaker.
