European bourses and Dow closed slightly up on Friday. Dow was +39 at
21988. Trend of Dow is turning up. Dow's future at this moment is -69.
European bourses opened down.
Asian bourses closed mostly down. Nikkei -183, ShanghaiC +13, Hangseng
-213. STI closed -48 at 3229. Volume was 1.9b shares. Gainers were 100
to 304 losers.
Trend of STI is slipping down after Friday's uptick.
Top volumes were Rowsley -0.6, QTVascular -0.2, YZJ -10, Jadason -0.7,
MoyaAsia -0.3, SweeHong -0.2, GoldenAgri -1.5, Addvalue -0.2, Genting -3,
SingTel -4.
STI opened flat but slipped to negative quickly. The slide down continue
and gained strength in early after to fall further down. STI closed at day
low at -48. Blue chips were mostly in the red. The general market was weak
with losers outnumbered gainers by 3 to 1, spooked by the Korean tension.
