European bourses closed mixed on Tuesday. Dow closed -163 yesterday at

26430.  Trend of Dow is turning down.  European bourses opened down.

Asian bourses closed mostly higher. Nikkei closed.  ShanghaiC +16, Hangseng

+242.  STI closed -7 at 3393.  Volume was 854m shares.  Gainers were 179 to

200 losers.

Trend of STI is up but weakening.

Top volumes were MapletreLogTr +4, YZJ unchanged, Genting -1.5, HPHTrust

-0.5, NetLink unchanged, ICP unchanged, Spackman -0.1, SuntecReit -2,

CapitaComTr +1, RexIntl unchanged.

STI opened down and moved down further to close near morning low for lunch

at 3384.  After lunch it slipped further down and only started to recover

some losses after mid afternoon.  It closed near day high at 3393, -7. Day

high was 3395.

Blue chips were generally higher. The general market was down.

European bourses are mixed at this moment while Dow's future is up.

Daily Summary 29 Apr 19

European bourses closed mixed on Friday. Dow closed +81 at 26543. Trend of

Dow is inching back up. European bourses opened up.

Asian bourses closed mixed.  Nikkei -49, ShanghaiC -24, Hangseng +288. STI

closed +51 at 3408. Volume was 1.1b shares.  Gainers were 203 to 160

losers.

Trend of STI is turning up.

Top volumes were Genting +1.5, AsianPayTV -0.8, Annica unchanged,

KrisEnergy -0.6, RexIntl -0.3, SingTel +3, YZJ +1, GoldenAgri +0.5,

NamCheong -0.2.

STI opened slightly up and moved further up to close at morning high for

lunch.  After lunch it moved up all the way to close slightly off day high.

Day high was 3415, an hour before closing.

Blue chips were mostly higher.  The general market was firmer.

European bourses are mixed but Dow's future is up at this moment.

European bourses and Dow closed down last night.  Dow closed -135 at 26462.

The gradual uptrend of down is turning down and threatening a trend

reversal.  European bourses opened mixed.

Asian bourses closed mixed and rather flat.  Nikkei -49, ShanghaiC -37,

Hangseng +32.  STI closed flat at 3350.  Volume was 864m shares.  Gainers

were 184 to 177 losers.

Trend of STI is sideways.

Top volumes were HPHTrust unchanged, NamCheong +0.2, NicoSteel unchanged,

Genting +0.5, YZJ +1, ChinaEverbright +0.5, AscendasReit -1, RexIntl -0.1,

SingTel -1..

STI opened down but moved up and was at day high by mid morning at 3357.

It then pulled back to close for lunch flat.  After lunch it hovered at

this level within a small range and closed flat for the day.

Blue chips saw more gainers than losers.  The general market was slightly

firmer.

European bourses closed mixed last night. Dow closed -59 at 26597.  Trend

of Dow is up.  European bourses opened down.

Asian bourses closed mostly down.  Nikkei +108, ShanghaiC -78, Hangseng

-239.  STI closed -10 at 3352. Volume was 913m shares.  Gainers were 158 to

197 losers.

Trend of STI is sideways.
