European bourses closed mixed last night. Dow closed -59 at 26597. Trend
of Dow is up. European bourses opened down.
Asian bourses closed mostly down. Nikkei +108, ShanghaiC -78, Hangseng
-239. STI closed -10 at 3352. Volume was 913m shares. Gainers were 158 to
197 losers.
Trend of STI is sideways.
Top volumes were AEM +11, SuntecReit -5, Cosco +3, ThaiBev -0.5, Genting
+1, SingTel -3, YZJ +1, RexIntl unchanged, AscendasReit +4, AsianPayTV
unchanged.
STI opened down but moved back up slightly to close for lunch at -3. After
lunch it held on at this level but fell a bit more in late afternoon to
close near day low at -10 at 3352.
Blue chips were mostly red. The general market was weaker.
