European bourses and Dow were down last night. Dow closed -190 at 26151.
Current short uptrend of Dow is dipping down. European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei -115, ShanghaiC +2, Hangseng -32. STI
closed +4 at 3330. Volume was 1b shares. Gainers were 180 to 170 losers.
Trend of STI is still up but going sideways.
Top volumes were LionGold unchanged, Genting -0.5, YZJ -1, HPHTrust +0.5,
Synagie +0.7, YVentures +1.3, RexIntl -0.1, SingTel +1, HiP +9, KrisEnergy
unchanged.
STI opened down but moved up gradually to close for lunch at 3327, +2.
After lunch it stayed close to this level for the rest of the afternoon,
inching up marginally in the last hour to close marginally higher at 3330.
Blue chips were slightly firmer. The general market was mixed.
