European bourses were up last night but Dow -79 closing at 26179. Trend of
Dow is looking up. European bourses opened mixed.
Asian bourses closed mostly up. Nikkei +208, ShanghaiC +39, Hangseng +362.
STI closed +31 at 3312. Volume was 1.8b shares. Gainers were 222 to 186
losers.
Trend of STI is up.
Top volumes were YingLi +0.1, RexIntl +0.4, Genting +1, Tritech unchanged,
KepInfraTr -0.5, Clearbridge +2.2, MapletreeLogTr -2, KeppelReit -3,
KrisEnergy +0.2, SingTel +1.
STI opened up and moved up slightly further to close for lunch at 3306.
After lunch it moved up a bit more and strengthened its climb after mid
afternoon. It slid back slightly in the last hour to close +31 at 3311.
Blue chips were mostly higher. The general market was also firmer.
