Dow and Europe were slightly up last
night. Dow closed +24 at 15639. Dow's trend is flattening . Dow's
future is -18 at the moment. Europe opened marginally down.
Asian bourses were mixed. Nikkei
+24, ShanghaiC +8, Hangseng -151. STI closed +2 at 3206. Volume was
2.3b shares. Gainers were 233 to 224 losers.
Trend of STI is slipping down.
Top volumes were Viking +5.1, Sunmoon
-0.1, Blumont +0.2, SkyOne +0.6, HM -0.2, CNA +0.7, JES +1.9, Digiland
unchanged, Innopac -0.2, Noble +5.5.
Market opened up and remained up till
late afternoon when traders cleared their positions and sold down. STI
closed negative but a bit of short coverings during matching to end +2.
Blue chips were mostly up. Penny stocks were mixed. Today Viking
was up by more than 50%, a reminder of what happened before the collapsed
of penny stocks.
Europe and Dow are steady but not heading
anywhere.
