Europe were up while Dow marginally
down, -5 at 15440. Dow's trend is still down but levelling. Dow's future
is now +30. Europe opened up.
Asian bourses were generally better.
Nikkei -25, Shanghai still closed., Hangseng +154. STI closed +30
at 2991. Volume was 2.5b shares. Gainers were 304 to 164 losers.
Trend is down but showing signs of rebounding.
Top volumes were Albedo +0.2, Hankore
+0.2, Transcu unchanged, CharismaEner +0.1, CCM +0.2, Vallianz unchanged,
OttoMar +0.3, SunVic +5.5, Dukang -4.5, GoldenAgr +0.5.
Market opened down but recovered to
closed positive. Blue chips were mostly up. Speculatives and penny
stocks were also firmer. After two weeks of sharp falls market looks like
hitting bottom and recovering.
Dow and Europe are looking firmer at
this moment.
