Europe and Dow were slightly up last
night. Dow +27 at 16808. Dow's short term trend is turning up slightly.
Dow's future is now +8. Europe opened up.
Asian bourses were mixed. Nikkei
+140, ShanghaiC -11, Hangseng -22. STI closed +3 at 3277. Volume
was 2b shares. Gainers were 248 to 164 losers.
Short term trend of STI is down.
Top volumes were Blumont +0.7, MirachEnergy
+3, Vallianz unchanged, SIIC +0.7, Transcu +0.1, WCorp +0.1, LottVision
+0.1, IPCO +0.1, KLW +0.1, InnoPac +0.2.
Market opened marginally up and stayed
slightly positive most part of the day. Volume was slightly higher but
trading very quiet. There were more gainers among the blue chips. Penny
and speculatives were also firmer.
Europe and Dow are looking firm at the
moment.
