Europe closed slightly down last night but Dow was +133 at 18028. Trend of Dow is sideways. Dow's future at this moment is +30. Europe opened up.
Asian bourses were mixed. Nikkei -219, ShanghaiC -10, Hangseng +48. STI closed -3 at 2857. Volume was 1.5b shares. Gainers were 198 to 160 losers.
Trend of STI is drifting sideways.
Top volumes were Noble +10, Ezra +0.1, AllianceMineral +0.8, Spackman +0.9, Jasper unchanged, Addvalue unchanged, HealthwayMed +0.1, Metech -0.1, RexIntl unchanged, ThaiBev +1.
STI opened flat and stayed flat for the whole session trading within a small range of +/- 5 points. Blue chips were mixed and so was the general market. It was a directionless market.
European bourses and Dow's future at the moment are up.
