Asian bourses were mostly down. Nikkei -244, ShanghaiC +7, Hangseng -442. STI closed -19 at 2869. Volume was 1.9b shares. Gainers were 134 to 268 losers.
Trend of STI at this point is sideways.
Top volumes were Noble -0.8, AllianceMineral +1.3, Ezra -0.5, AsiaMedic -0.7, Spackman +0.3, AnchorResources +0.7, QTVascular +0.4, Ausgroup unchanged, Addvalue unchanged, SunMoonFood +0.4.
STI opened down and stayed down for the whole session. It closed near day high at -21 points. Blue chips were slightly weaker. The general market was also weaker.
