Europe were up last night but Dow closed -65 at 18168. Trend of Dow looks like weakening. Dow's future at this moment is -8. Europe opened down.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei +84, China closed, Hangseng +99. STI closed -2 at 2882. Volume was 2.4b shares. Gainers were 247 and losers 178.
Trend of STI is barely tilting up.
Top volumes were Noble +1, Ezra +0.3, Addvalue -0.4, HLH +0.1, AllianceMineral +0.5, Ezion +2.5, RexIntl +0.1, WE unchanged, Charisma +0.1, NamCheong +0.9.
STI opened down slightly but crept up immediately to stay just below yesterday's closing price for most part o the day. It moved to marginally positive in late afternoon only to close at -2. Blue chips were mostly up. The general market actually had more gainers than losers.
Europe and Dow's future at this moment are down.
