European bourses were up last night but Dow closed -3 at 26450.  Trend of

Dow is still up but flattening.  European bourses opened down.

Asian bourses closed mostly down.  Nikkei -188, ShanghaiC -13, Hangseng

-214.  STI closed -5 at 3344.  Volume was 915m shares.  Gainers were 155 to

216 losers.

Trend of STI is sideways at this point.

Top volumes were Genting unchanged, TEEIntl -0.1, MapletreeLogTr unchanged,

JCG unchanged, YZJ +1, CapitaMallTr -2, YVentures +1.4, AscendasReit

unchanged, ESRReit -0.5, GoldenAgri -1.

STI opened slightly up but traded within a small range and closed for lunch

at the same level as when market opened. After lunch it slid down through

the afternoon session to close near day low at -5 at 3344.

Blue chips were mostly lower.  The general market was also weaker given the

weak opening in Europe and holiday tomorrow.
