Dow and Europe were down last night.
Dow -135 at 16441. Dow's trend is starting to turn down. Dow's
future is now -25. Europe opened mixed.
Asian bourses tumbled. Nikkei still
closed. ShanghaiC -26. Hangseng -523. STI -44 at 3131. Volume
was 3.6b shares. Gainers were 148 to 313 losers.
STI closed -43 at 3131.
Top volumes were Hankore +0.2, Memstar
+.4, Albedo unchanged, CharismaEner -0.3, KLW +0.3, SIIC +0.6, ChinaBearing
unchanged, GSH unchanged, Acma +0.1, OttoMarine -0.2.
Market opened weak and STI slid down
throughout the day to close at day low. A day of profit taking after the
recent run. Blue chips were mostly in the red. Penny stocks still
dominated play but also pull back and closed mixed.
Dow and Europe are looking weak for
tonight and there could be more selling next week.
