Dow and Europe were down slightly last
night. Dow -45 at 16425. Dow's trend is down. Dow's future
is now +18. Europe opened marginally down.
Asian bourses were mixed. Nikkei
-95, ShanghaiC +2, Hangseng +29. STI closed +3 at 3127. Volume
was 4.2b shares. Gainers were 242 to 217 losers.
Trend of STI is down.
Top volumes were KLW +0.4, CharismaEner
+0.6, Memstar -0.5, CNA +1.3, Hankore -0.2, SingHaiyi -0.1, Federal +0.7,
OEL +0.4, ChinaBearing -0.4, Albedo -0.1.
Market opened down but closed +3. Unfortunately
it was sold further down during matching to register -9 or day low. Blue
chips were mixed. Penny and speculatives were slightly firmer with rotational
play. Today's big gainers were YingLi +3, RexIntl +2.5, Tritech +3.5, RHPetroGas
+3.5.
Europe and Dow are looking stable.
