Europe closed mixed while Dow closed at 17829, -92. Trend of Dow is up. Dow's future at the moment is -16. European bourses opened slightly up.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei closed, ShanghaiC -9, Hangseng +198. STI closed +31 at 3005. Volume was 1.5b shares. Gainers were 276 to 154 losers.
Trend of STI is starting to turn up.
Top volumes were Rowsley +0.8, Noble +2, Informatics +0.6, Stratech +0.2, Ezra +0.2, Blumont -0.1, PacificAndes +0.3, Magnus +0.1, Yuuzoo -0.5, MMP +0.2.
STI opened down but recovered to close up , +31 pts. Blue chips were mostly up. The general market was up as well. But volumes continued to be low, below the 2b shares mark.
Europe is marginally up at the moment while Dow's future is slightly down.
