Europe closed mixed last night. Dow was -35 at 17706. Trend of Dow is still down but starting to turn up. Dow's future at the moment is +93. European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses closed mostly up. Nikkei +349, ShanghaiC +1, Hangseng +85. STI closed -25 at 2740. Volume was 1.3b shares. Gainers were 174 to 270 losers.
Trend of STI is down.
Top volumes were Noble +1, Ezra -0.1, GoldenAgri -1.5, RexIntl +0.2, GlobalLogistic -2, SingTel -4, IEV -0.7, Yuuzoo -0.5, Elektromotive -0.1, HPHTrust +1, CapitalLand +2.
STI opened down, tried to recover and was at day high by lunch time but still unable to turn positive. It fell back after lunch to close near day low despite a positive opening in Europe. Blue chips were weaker and so was the general market.
Europe and Dow's future are positive at this point in time.
