Europe closed mixed last night. Dow closed -217 at 17711. Trend of Dow is still showing a bit of recovery. Dow's future at the moment is +46. European bourses opened marginally down.
Asian bourses were mixed. Nikkei +67, ShanghaiC flat, Hangseng -140. STI closed +11 at 2744. Volume was 1.8b shares. Gainers were 210 to 209 losers.
Trend of STI is down.
Top volumes were CedarStrategic +0.1, Ezra -0.2, Vard +3.2, Yuuzoo -1.9, ISRCapital +2.3, Noble +1, Genting +4, Sincap -0.2, RexIntl +0.3, GoldenAgri -0.5, ThaiBev -1.5.
STI opened down but stayed nearly flat for the most part of the session. It recovered in the last hour to close near day high and positive. Blue chips were mixed. The general market saw about even gainers and losers.
Europe is still flat at this moment. Dow's future is slightly up.
