Europe closed mixed last night. Dow closed +60 at 18636. Dow's trend is pointing slightly upwards. Dow's future is now -40. European bourses opened down.
Asian bourses closed mostly down. Nikkei -273, ShanghaiC -15, Hangseng -22. STI closed -5 at 2862. Volume was 1.4b shares. Gainers were 189 to 219 losers.
Trend of STI is going sideways at this juncture.
Top volumes were Noble +0.4, Spackman +1.1, Ezra +0.1, Annica unchanged, GoldenAgri +1.5, CedarStrategic unchanged, SingMedical +1, Vallianz -0.1, ThaiBev unchanged, Equation unchanged, KepInfraTr -0.5.
STI opened slightly up then slipped to marginally down. It stayed slightly down for the rest of the session. Blue chips were slightly weaker. The general market is also weaker.
