Europe closed mixed last night. Dow closed -49 at 18454. Trend of Dow is still sideways. Dow's future is now -2. European bourses opened mixed.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei +162, ShanghaiC +11, Hangseng -39. STI closed -7 at 2821. Volume was 1.2b shares. Gainers were 169 to 222 losers.
Trend of STI is slipping down.
Top volumes were Noble -0.4, ThaiBev unchanged, APAC -0.1, Spackman -0.2, Ezion -1.5, GoldenAgri +0.5, SingMedical -0.5, Ezra 0.1, SingTel -8, Genting -0.5.
STI opened down but moved up to stay flat in late morning. It slid down after lunch to stay marginally down and closed near day low. Blue chips were mostly in the red. The general market was also weaker.
Europe is mixed at this moment while Dow's future is marginally down.
