Europe and Dow were down last night. Dow closed -108 at 18037. Trend of Dow is seeing the first significant dip. Dow's future at this moment is -58. European bourses opened down.
Asian bourses were mostly down. Nikkei -308, ShanghaiC -19, Hangseng -337. STI closed -7 at 2807. Volume was 1.7b shares. Gainers were 136 to 249 losers.
Trend of STI is looking down.
Top volumes were GlobalLogistic +15.5, QTVascular -0.5, Noble -0.3, GoldenAgri -1.5, NicoSteel +0.8, SunMoon -0.9, Spackman +0.8, Equation unchanged, ASTI -0.2, CedarStrategic unchanged.
STI opened slightly down and tried to move up during lunch time but unable to break to positive. It weakened slightly to close near day high at -6 points. This is very firm given the sharp falls in regional bourses. Blue chips were weaker and so was the general market.
European bourses and Dow's future at this moment are both down.
