European bourses and Dow continued with a second day decline. Dow closed -77 at 17960. Short term trend of Dow is pointing down. Dow's future at this moment is -11. European bourses opened marginally down.
Asian bourses were mostly down. Nikkei closed, ShanghaiC +26, Hangseng -129. STI closed -2 at 2805. Volume was 2.4b shares. Gainers were 216 to 189 losers.
Short term trend of STI is down.
Top volumes were Noble +1.3, SunMoon +1.1, GlobalLogistic +11.5, ChinaMed +0.2, KrisEnergy +0.2, SuperGroup +29, Spackman +0.5, SweeHong +0.3, MoyaAsia +0.5.
STI opened marginally down. It slipped down a bit more but recovered to close -2.Blue chips closed mixed. The general market was weaker despite two counters on takeover news, Super Group +29c and GlobalLogistic +11.5.
European bourses are still marginally down at this moment while Dow's future is flat.
