European bourses and Dow were down last night. Dow closed -336 at 24611.
Trend of Dow is starting to turn down. Dow's future at this moment in time
is -3. European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses closed mostly up after a weak opening. Nikkei -100,
ShanghaiC +11, Hangseng +36. STI +16 at 3514. Volume was 1.4b shares.
Gainers were 179 to 198 losers.
Trend of STI is sideways.
Top volumes were Noble +0.2, Cosco +1.5, Rowsley +0.2, AlliedTech
-0.1,Ausgroup, -0.3, Genting +1, IPCO unchanged, YZJ -2, JEP unchanged,
MapletreeGCC -2.
STI opened down. It then made a slow recovery but still closed down 8
points by lunch. After lunch it continued to recover and turned positive
after half and hour of trading to close at day high at +16.
Blue chips were mostly up but the general market was slightly down.
