European bourses closed mixed last night. Dow closed -9 at 23848. Trend of
Dow is still down. Dow's future at this moment is +14. European bourses
opened up.
Asian bourses closed mostly up. Nikkei +128, ShanghaiC +39, Hangseng +71.
STI clsoed +47 at 3429. Volume was 1.4b shares. Gainers were 241 to 143
losers.
Trend of STI is down but showing first sign of turning up.
Top volumes were Magnus -0.1, Genting +2, SingTel +3, NicoSteel unchanged,
AlliedTech unchanged, MarcoPoloMarine unchanged, HPHTrust -0.5,, LionGold
unchanged, YZJ +1, ThaiBev -1.
STI opened up and continued to climb through the day to close near day high
at +47. Blue chips were mostly up. The general market was firmer with
gainer loser ratio at 2 to 1.
