Europe and Dow were slightly up last
night. Dow +110 at 17972. Dow's trend is turning up again. Dow's
future is now +36. Europe opened up.
Asian bourses were mostly up but Nikkei
was weaker, -66. ShanghaiC +31, Hangseng +260. STI closed +3
at 3422. Volume was 1.1b shares. Gainers were 242 to 204 losers.
Trend of STI is flat.
Top volumes were AdvanceSCT -0.1, IHC
+0.5, HPHTrust +3, SingTel +2, Blumont unchanged, GoldenAgri -0.5, Noble
+6.5, Equation -0.1, SIIC unchanged, Wilmar +8.
Market opened up but fell slightly negative
in early morning trading. It then recovered to stay positive for the rest
of the day and closed at day high with +7 pts. Blue chisp were firmer.
Penny and speculatives were seeing slightly more gainers than losers.
Dow and Europe are looking firm at the
moment.
