Daily Summary 5 Feb 15

European bourses were relatively flat and mixed. Dow was +7 at 17673. Dow's trend is turning up.  Dow's future is now +50.  European bourses opened slightly down.

Asian bourses were mixed. Nikkei -174, ShanghaiC -37, Hangseng +86.  STI closed -14 at 3404. Volume was 1.2b shares.  Gainers were 160 to 279 losers.

Trend of STI is flat.

Top volumes were PacificAndes +0.1, GoldenAgri unchanged, IHC unchanged, ChinaEnv -3.5, Oceanus unchanged, SIIC -0.2, GeoEnergy +1, Noble -1.5, GlobalLogistic -3, Vallianz -0.1.

Market opened flat and slipped further down and then stayed around a -10 pts band.  Volume was very low.  There were more losers than gainers among the blue chips.  Penny and speculatives were also weaker.

European slightly down on opening.  Dow's future is positive at the moment.
