Dow and Europe were up last night. Dow
+196 at 17361. Dow's falling trend is easing. Dow's future
is now +42. Europe opened firmly up.
Asian bourses were mixed. Nikkei
-222, ShanghaiC + 77, Hangseng +70. STI closed -15 at 3408. Volume
was 1.5b shares. Gainers were 218 to 247 losers.
Trend of STI is flattening.
Top volumes were Bumont +0.1, Healthway
+0.1, IHC -0.5, NamCheong +2.5, PacificAndes -0.1, GoldenAgri unchanged,
LionGold +0.1, Noble -2.5, Swiber +1.3, SingTel -5.
Market opened down and stayed down the
whole day. It closed off its low of -22 at -15. Blue chips were mixed with
more losers. Penny and speculatives were mixed.
Dow's future and European bourses are
positive at the moment.
