Europe and Dow were slightly up last night. Dow closed +14 at 18100. Trend of Dow is flattening. Europe opened slightly down.
Asian bourses were mostly up. Nikkei +191, ShanghaiC +27, Hangseng +132. STI closed -2 at 3371. Volume was 3.4b shares. Gainers were 274 to 223 losers.
Trend of STI is up.
Top volumes were Foreland +1.8, NewSilkroutes unchanged, WE +0.3, Qingmei +2.6, Edition +1, CEFC 11.5, ChinaSports +1.4, Oceanus +0.2, SinoConstruction -0.3, Darco +0.8.
STI opened up but traded through the day moving just above and below yesterday's closing level. It finally ended -2. Blue chips were mostly weaker. General market was slightly firmer. There were some big fluctuations in penny stocks with a few counters doubling their prices. Looks like there is increasing interest in penny stocks.
Europe and Dow's future are slightly down at the moment.
