Europe closed slightly up last night while Dow -5 at 17746. Short term trend of Dow is still up. Dow's future at this moment is +8. European bourses opened mixed.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei +62, ShanghaiC -42, Hangseng +138. STI closed -47 at 3205. Volume was 2b shares. Gainers were 141 against 341 losers.
Trend of STI is down.
Top volumes were Noble -6.5, Global Logistic -20, Vallianz -0.5, HPHTrust +0.5, GoldenAgri -0.5, IHC +0.5, Ezra -0.5, SingTel -2, Genting -1.
STI opened down and fell further but closed off its day low. It was the last day of the month and there was some expectation of a window dressing but the whole market was sold down instead even for stocks with good results. Blue chips were mostly down. The general market saw losers more than gainers by 2 to 1.
Europe is turning positive at this moment. Dow's future is slightly up.
