Europe and Dow were down again. Dow closed -68 at 17851. Trend of Dow is down. Dow's future is now +18. Europe opened flat, slightly positive at this moment.
Asian bourses were mostly up. Nikkei +90, ShanghaiC +98, Hangseng +116. STI closed +3 at 3362. Volume was 2.5b shares. Gainers were 214 to 253 losers.
Trend of STI is up but weakening.
Top volumes were Noble -1.5, NewSilkroutes unchanged, Infinio unchanged, ThaiBev -1, Sitra -0.2, Qingmei -0.2, IPCO unchanged, Armarda unchanged, Blumont +0.1, Vallianz +0.1.
STI opened up and stayed at about +10 for the most part of the session. It slipped down in the last hour to close at day low, but with a smal gain of 3 pts. Blue chips were generally firmer. General market was slightly weaker.
Europe and Dow's future at the moment are slightly positive.
