European bourses closed mixed last night. Dow was -28 at 17730. Short term trend of Dow is down but trying to turn back up. Dow's future at the moment is -15. European bourses opened slightly down.
Asian bourses were mostly down today. Nikkei +17, ShanghaiC -228, Hangseng -218. STI closed +11 at 3339. Volume was 1.6b shares. Gainers were 170 to 261 losers.
Short term trend of STI is still creeping up.
Top volumes were Federal +0.2, Ezra -0.9, IHC unchanged, BengKuang +0.1, KLW -0.1, Sincap unchanged, NOL +1, LifeBrandz unchanged, Debao -0.4.
Market opened up and stayed positive for the whole session. Blue chips were firmer with banks making good recovery. The general market was weaker with more losers than gainers.
Europe and Dow's future are at the moment slightly down.
