Europe and Dow were firm last night. Dow closed +236 at 16285. Trend of Dow is making a first turn up. Dow's future is now +115. European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses were mostly up. Nikkei +334, Shanghai and Hangseng closed. STI closed +11 at 2802. Volume was 1.2b shares. Gainers were 219 to 156 losers.
STI has a break from its down trend.
Top volume were Stratech +0.8, IHC +0.2, QTVascular +4.9, MDR unchanged, Ezra -0.1, Rowsley +0.8, Noble -0.5, PacificAndes +0.1, CapitaLand +3, GoldenAgri +0.5.
STI opened up and stayed up for the whole session. It picked up strength in mid morning but gave up some of its gains in the last hour of trading. Blue chips were mostly higher. The general market was also firmer.
Europe and Dow's future are up at the moment.
