Europe and Dow were up on Friday. Dow closed +34 at 17084. Trend of Dow is up but weakening. Dow's future at the moment is +8. European bourses opened mixed.
Asian bourses were mostly up. Nikkei +298, ShanghaiC 105, Hangseng + 272. STI closed +31 at 3030. Volume was 1.9b shares. Gainers were 309 to 175 losers.
Trend of STI is up.
Top volumes were Noble +4.5, Ezra +0.3, Healthway +0.4, GoldenAgri +1.5, Magnus unchanged, Stratech +0.2, GreatGroup +0.4, Ezion +4.5, Vallianz +0.1, RexIntl +0.6.
STI opened marginally up but gained momemtum after half an hour of trading to move higher. It closed near day high. Blue chips were mostly up. The general market was firmer with more gainers than losers.
European bourses are still mixed at the moment while Dow's future has just turned red.
