European bourses closed mixed last night. Dow closed +168 at 17888. Trend of Dow is showing first sign of turning back up. Dow's future is now +39. European bourses opened marginally up.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei -74, ShanghaiC +80, Hangseng +98. STI closed+17 at 2887. Volume was 1b shares. Gainers were 219 to 198 losers.
STI is turning up.
Top volumes were AllianceMineral +1.9, Memstar +0.1, Loyz -0.1, HPHTrust -0.5, GlobalLogistic +3, Spackman -0.2, AusGroup +0.1, Addvalue +0.3, Rowsley +0.1, Yuuzoo -1.
STI opened up and stayed up for the whole session. It went to a high of 2902 but closed near its day low of 2887. Blue chips were mostly up with the banks starting to recover. The general market was mixed.
European bourses and Dow's future are slightly positive at the moment.
