Europe and Dow were down last night. Dow closed -117 at 18743. Trend of Dow is levelling. Dow's future at the moment is +5. Europe is still closed at this moment.
Asian bourses were mixed and flat. Nikkei -1, ShanghaiC -22, Hangseng +39. STI closed +4 at 2889. Volume was 630m shares. Gainers were 157 to 159 losers.
Trend of STI is up but levelling.
Top volumes were ChinaSports +1.2, APAC -0.1, ImperiumCrown +0.2, MMP unchanged, Sincap +0.1, GenEnergy unchanged, RexIntl -0.4, ChinaEnv +0.3, Noble unchanged, Jiutian +0.3.
STI opened marginally up but slipped down quickly to stay slightly negative for the rest of the morning. It only recovered in the last half an hour to turn positive at +4. Blue chips were weaker. The overall market was mixed with almost equal gainers and losers.
Dow's future is marginally up at the moment.
