Europe and Dow continued their ascend on Friday. Dow closed +218 at 17213. Trend of Dow's continues on its upward march. European bourses opened firmly up.
Asian bourses were mostly up. Nikkei +254, ShanghaiC +50, Hangseng +236. STI closed +18 at 2847. Volume was 1.5b shares. Gainers were 237 to 210 losers.
Trend of STI is inching up again.
Top volumes were Ezra -0.2, IEV +1.7, OEL +0.3,AddvalueTech +0.2, Spackman +0.1, Noble -0.5, Yoma +5.5, GlobalTech +0.3, ChinaEnv -0.8, YingLi +0.1.
STI opened up and reached a day high in late morning. It then pulled back slightly to close near day low but still +18 pts. Blue chips were mostly in the green. The general market was slightly firmer.
Europe are firmly up at the moment while Dow's future is flat.
