Europe closed mixed last night while Dow managed a small gain, +34 closing at 16899. Trend of Dow was slighlty up. Dow's future is now -3. European bourses opened slightly down.
Asian bourses closed mostly positive. Nikkei +214, ShanghaiC +10, Hangseng -62. STI closed +53 at 2780. Volume was 2.2b shares. Gainers were 281 to 178 losers.
Trend of STI is turning up.
Top volumes were Ezra +0.3, Noble +3.5, TechOil +3.3, Ezion +.53, Loyz -0.2, Xinren unchanged, Magnus +0.1, Vard +1.2, RexIntl +0.2. QTVascular +0.3.
STI opened up and moved up further to around +45 and stayed around that level for the rest session. Blue chips especially the banks were big gainers. The general market were also firmer with more gainers than losers.
European bourses and Dow's future at the moment are slightly down. Could see some profit taking tomorrow.
