Europe and Dow were down last night. Dow fell quite sharply but recovered to lose only 63 points at 19891. European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei +153, ShanghaiC -7, Hangseng +108. STI closed +30 at 3025. Volume was 1.7b shares. Gainers were 225 to 177 losers.
Trend of STI is up.
Top volumes were Noble +0.4, AnchorResources +1.3, NicoStell +0.3, AA+0.2, AsiaMedic +0.6, Ezra +0.2, GoldenAgri +0.5, GlobalLogistic +4, Ezion +0.5, HPHTrust unchanged.
STI opened marginally but moved up quickly to stay positive for the whole session. It made more gains in the last half an hour to close near day high, +30 pts. Blue chips were mostly green. The general market was slightly firmer.
European bourses and Dow's future are up at this moment.
