Asian bourses are mostly slightly up. Nikkei +55, ShanghaiC +10, Hangseng +8. STI closed +6 at 3058. Volume was 850m shares. Gainers were 163 and losers 135.

Top volumes were Equation +0.2, QTVascular -0.2, AllianceMineral +0.6, Oceanus unchanged, Noble +0.1, AA +0.2, Spackman -0.2, Artivision unchanged, Capitaland +7, GoldenAgri unchanged.
STI opened slightly up and stayed that way for the morning session. It closed +8. Blue chips were mixed. The general market was slightly better for the half day session.
