European bourses and Dow were marginally up last night. Dow closed +46 at
23979. Trend of Dow is not going anywhere. Dow's future at this moment is
+235. European bourses opened firmly up.
Asian bourses rallied. Nikkei +481, ShanghaiC +52, Hangseng +499. STI
closed +16 at 3466. Volume was 2b shares. Gainers were 227 to 159 losers.
Trend of STI is turning up.
Top volumes were Rowsley +0.4, InnoPac unchanged, DISA unchanged, HPHTrust
+0.5, Genting unchanged, AdvancedSystems unchanged, Jiutian unchanged, JEP
+0.5, YZJ +2, Cosco +0.5.
STI opened down and stayed down for an hour before making an ascend. It
closed for lunch on a positive note. After lunch it continued to climb and
closed off its day high at +16.
Blue chips were mostly higher. The general market was firmer.
