Daily Summary 2 Apr 19

European bourses and Dow were firmly up last night.  Dow closed +330 at

26258.  Trend of Dow is up.  European bourses opened slightly up.

Asian bourses were mostly firmer. Nikkei -4, ShanghaiC +6, Hangseng +63.

STI closed +31 at 3282.  Volume was 920m shares.  Gainers were 215 to 164

losers.

Tritech +1.1, RexIntl -0.1, Genting +1, KrisEnergy +0.2, YZJ +3, SingTel

+2, ThaiBev unchanged, AllianceMineral +1, Frasers L&I unchanged,

MapletreetreeCom Tr unchanged.

STI opened up but slid back slightly only to pull back to close for lunch

at 3268, +18.  After lunch it inched up marginally and closed +31 with a

last minute surged at 3282..

Blue chips were mostly up.  The general market was firmer.

European bourses are up at this moment while Dow's future is slightly down.
