European bourses and Dow were up on Friday. Trend of Dow is starting to
turn up. European bourses opened firmly up.
Asian bourses rallied. Nikkei +303, ShanghaiC +80, Hangseng +503. STI
closed +38 at 3251. Volume was 900m shares. Gainers were 253 to 141
losers.
Trend of STI is moving up.
Top volumes were Genting +1, ThaiBev +1, Tritech -0.4, RexIntl +0.5,
MapletreeLogTr +3, YZJ +2, GoldenAgri +0.5, SingTel +3, KrisEnergy +0.1,
ThomsonMed +0.1.
STI opened up and moved up gradually to close near morning high at 3239 for
lunch. After lunch it hovered at this level for an hour before moving up
again hitting day high by 4pm at 3250. It closed at day high at 3251.
Blue chips were mostly higher. The general market is up.
