European bourses were marginally down last night. Dow closed -32 at 25626.
Trend of Dow is struggling to move back up. European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei -345, ShanghaiC -28, Hangseng +47. STI
closed +4 at 3202. Volume was 1.1b shares. Gainers were 158 to 182
losers.
Trend of STI is about to break up.
Top volumes were QTVascular unchanged, ISRCapital unchanged, JCG unchanged,
TEE +0.2, AlliedTech -0.1, RxIntl -0.15Genting +1, GSH +1.5, CapitaComTr
-3, ThaiBev -1.
STI opened flat, hovered at this level for an hour before moving up and
closed for lunch +8. After lunch it moved up a couple more points before
drifting aimless at this level for most part of the afternoon. It closed at
+4 at 3202.
Blue chips were mostly up but the general market was slightly weaker.
