European bourses closed down last night.  Dow closed -200 at 25473.  Trend

of Dow is down.  European bourses opened down.

Asian bourses fell.  Nikkei -430, ShanghaiC -137, Hangseng -555.  STI

closed -34 at 3196.  Volume was 1.1b shares.  Gainers were 132 to 242

losers.

Trend of STI is down.

Top volumes were CWX unchanged, RexIntl +0.3, YZJ -3, ThaiBev -1, NicoSteel

unchanged, ThomsonMed -0.1, SingTel -3, CapitaComTr -3, Genting unchanged,

MapletreeLogTr -3.

STI opened down and stayed down for the whole session. After a weak opening

it moved up slightly but unable to turn positive. After mid morning it slid

back and closed for lunch -20 points.  After lunch it continued to slide

down and close at day low at 3195, -34.

Blue chips were mostly red.  The general market was down.

European bourses and Dow's future are down at this moment.
