European bourses closed mixed last night.  Dow closed -69 at 25916.  Trend

of Dow is about to break down.  European bourses opened up.

Asian bourses closed mostly up.  Nikkei +224, ShanghaiC +53, Hangseng +197.

STI closed +10 at 3223.  Volume was 900m shares.  Gainers were 199 to 180

losers.

Trend of STI is down.

Top volumes were Unusual +4, AusGroup -0.1, RHTHealthTrust +0.1, RexIntl

unchanged, Genting +1, SingTel -3, YZJ +1, GoldenAgri unchanged, MDR +0.1,

NetLinkTr unchanged.

STI opened flat and moved up from there to reach day high at 3231, +19 just

before closing for lunch.  After lunch it slid down slightly and only

recovered in the last 15 minutes to close at +10.

Blue chips were mixed.  The general market marginally firmer.

European bourses and Dow's future are up at this moment in time.
