European bourses were slightly up last night. Dow closed -13 at 25806.
Trend of Dow is turning down. European bourses opened mixed.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei -117, ShanghaiC +48, Hangseng +62. STI
closed -4 at 3230. Volume was 1.1b shares. Gainers were 159 to 170
losers.
Trend of STI is trying to turn up.
Top volumes were NicoSteel +0.1, Genting -1, DISA unchanged, ThaiBev -1.5,
RexIntl -0.5, YZJ -2, AEM +5, Krisenergy -1, GoldenAgri +1, CapitaMallTr
-2.
STI opened flat, dipped to negative before turning back to slightly
positive. It then hovered around marginally down to close for lunch. After
lunch it turned positive but slipped back to flat by mid afternoon. It
finally closed at -4 at 3230.
Blue chips were mostly up. The general market was slightly firmer.
