European bourses and Dow were slightly up last night. Dow closed +7 at
25710. Trend of Dow is about to break up. European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses closed mostly up. Nikkei +161, ShanghaiC +31, Hangseng +161.
STI closed +2 at 3200. Volume was 1.6b shares. Gainers were 188 to 159
losers.
Trend of STI is still down but inching up.
Top volumes were RexIntl +0.2, ThomsonMed +0.1, MapletreeLogTr -1,
FrasersL&ITr -1, KepInfraTr unchanged, MapletreeComTr -1, ThaiBev -0.5,
MapletreeNACTr -1, GoldenAgre -1, Starhub -2.
STI opened flat and turned up after an hour of trading. It reached a day
high in late morning at 3217 before slipping slightly to close for lunch
+10 points. After lunch it slid down slightly through the session to close
near day low at +2 at 3200.
Blue chips were slightly weaker. The general market was mixed.
