European bourses closed mixed last night but Dow was +217 at 25963. Trend
of Dow is looking up. European bourses opened mixed.
Asian bourses closed mostly higher. Nikkei +18, ShanghaiC +3, Hangseng
+42. STI closed -1 at 3213. Volume was 818m shares. Gainers were 1670 to
188 losers.
Trend of STI is still sideways.
Top volumes were QTVascular unchanged, KepInfraTr +1.5, RexIntl -0.1,
Thakral -47.9, AEM +5, Genting -1, SingTel unchanged, YZJ unchanged,
ThaiBev -1, MapletreeLogTr +2.
STI opened slightly up and moved up higher reaching a day high within an
hour at 3228, +15. It then slid back and was negative by mid morning but
closing for lunch flat. After lunch it stayed flat for the most part of
the afternoon only to fall back to negative in the last half an hour of
trading. It closed near day low at 3213, -1.
Blue chips were mostly red. The general market was slightly weaker.
